Xingtai is known as "Southern Terrace of China" due to its geographical proximity to the southern end of the Taihang Mountains. The city has magnificent natural landscapes such as Shimenxia Dabashan and the azure lake in Weixian County. Many people enjoy hiking trekking and appreciating the breathtaking scenery here.

These temples were built during the Tang Dynasty and hold significant importance in Chinese Buddhism attracting countless pilgrims.
