My Favorite Season
My favorite season is autumn. The weather is just right – not too hot and not too cold. The leaves on the trees turn beautiful shades of red orange and yellow and fall to the ground in a colorful carpet. It’s a great season for outdoor activities such as hiking biking and apple-picking.
One of my favorite things to do in autumn is go for a walk in the woods. The crisp air feels great on my face and I love the sound of the leaves crunching under my feet. I also enjoy picking apples at a local orchard. It’s fun to wander through the rows of trees searching for the perfect apples to take home and bake into a delicious pie.
Even though winter is just around the corner autumn is a season to be enjoyed. It’s a time to slow down and appreciate the beauty of nature around us.
