I am an English student but recently I have become very anxious about learning English. Every time I need to communicate with others in English I feel nervous and uneasy. My mood becomes depressed because I worry about my grammar mistakes and inaccurate pronunciation. This makes me doubt my English abilities.

However I realize that anxiety only hinders my learning progress. I began to look for effective methods to alleviate my anxiety. Firstly I decided to actively participate in activities in my English class. I try to engage in more discussions and collaborations with classmates which improves my oral expression skills and allows me to receive suggestions and help from them.

Secondly I started consciously changing my way of thinking. I remind myself not to worry excessively about making mistakes because making mistakes is a part of learning. I began accepting my mistakes and learning from them. This positive attitude makes me more relaxed and has a positive impact on my English learning.

Additionally I also started actively seeking additional learning resources such as English movies music and books. This fun learning method helps me better understand and use English. Moreover I found that my confidence is improving through interacting with native English speakers.

For me overcoming anxiety takes time and effort. However I firmly believe that as long as I maintain a positive attitude and continuous effort I can overcome the anxiety in learning English and improve my English abilities.
