I have a foreign friend named Emma. She is from Australia and she is a university student. We met online and we have been good friends for two years. Even though we live in different countries and have different cultures we have a lot in common. Emma loves to travel and explore new cultures just like me. We often share our travel experiences and learn from each other.
Emma is also very interested in Chinese culture. She has learned a lot about Chinese history art food and customs from me. I have taught her some Chinese words and phrases and she can even write some simple Chinese characters now. We also celebrate Chinese festivals together such as the Spring Festival and the Mid-Autumn Festival. Emma likes Chinese food a lot and she can use chopsticks very well.
Even though we are not able to meet in person yet we have a strong friendship and keep in touch regularly. I hope one day we can travel together and experience different cultures around the world.
