Recently you and your classmates took part in an environmental campaign near your school. Here’s what happened in four pictures

Picture 1 You told Zhang Ming about the activity and he agreed to join you.

Last weekend a group of students from Red Star High School led by me took part in an environmental campaign which aimed to raise awareness of environmental protection among people around the school.

At first I talked to Zhang Ming about the activity and convinced him to join me. We started the campaign by visiting a nearby supermarket and refusing plastic bags when we shopped which helped to reduce plastic pollution. Then we went out to pick up litter on the street which was a common sight in the area. We were joined by many other volunteers along the way including Zhang Ming who helped us collect rubbish.

Finally we climbed up the hill near the school and planted some trees to improve the local environment. After the hard work we took a picture to mark our success feeling proud of what we had achieved.
