As a diligent student I always strive for excellence in my academic pursuits. The 2018 National English Exam was no exception. I worked hard in preparation and felt confident going into the test. However upon reflection I realized that there were some areas in which I could have improved.

One of my biggest weaknesses was time management. Though I finished the exam within the allotted time I found myself rushing towards the end which affected the quality of my answers. In the future I plan to pace myself better and allocate my time more efficiently.

As you know the Spring Festival is the most important traditional festival in China. It usually comes at the end of January or the beginning of February according to the lunar calendar. During the festival people get together with their family members to have a big meal just like what you do on Thanksgiving Day. You can also see lots of red decorations and firecrackers on the street which indicate good luck and prosperity.
One interesting thing about Spring Festival is that people give red envelopes with money inside to kids as a special gift.
