English Calligraphy Competition
Last week I participated in an English calligraphy competition organized by our school. Many students from different grades participated in this competition and it was a great opportunity for me to showcase my skills in writing English letters.
As the competition began we were given a sheet of paper and a pen to start writing our calligraphy. The task was to write a short English phrase or sentence and make it look beautiful and artistic.
I wrote the phrase "Believe in Yourself" which is a motivational quote that always inspires me. I tried to write each letter with precision and delicacy carefully choosing the thickness of the pen strokes to make it look aesthetically pleasing.
When I finished writing I was satisfied with my work and I felt confident about my chances of winning the competition. However there were many other talented students in the competition and I knew that it wouldn't be easy to win.
After the judges examined all the entries the results were announced and I was happy to hear that I had won the third place in the competition. Although I didn't win the first prize I felt proud of myself for participating and doing my best.
Overall the English calligraphy competition was a fun and thrilling experience and I look forward to participating in more such competitions in the future.
