A Terrible Day
Today was a really terrible day for me. Everything seemed to go wrong from the moment I woke up. First of all I overslept and ended up rushing to get ready for school. I didn't have time to eat breakfast and I forgot to bring my lunch with me.
To make matters worse I missed the bus. I had to walk to school which made me even later. When I finally arrived the teacher scolded me in front of the whole class. I felt so embarrassed and ashamed.
During the first period I realized that I had forgotten to do my homework. The teacher was furious and gave me a detention. I couldn't believe my bad luck.
During recess I accidentally spilled juice all over my new white shirt. It was impossible to remove the stain and I had to spend the rest of the day wearing a dirty shirt. I felt so self-conscious and everyone kept staring at me.
In the afternoon I had a test in math which I had completely forgotten about. I wasn't prepared at all and ended up failing. I was devastated and felt like crying.
Finally when the day was over it started to rain heavily. I had to walk home in the pouring rain without an umbrella. By the time I got home I was soaking wet and freezing cold.
This has definitely been one of the worst days of my life. I hope tomorrow will be better. I could really use some good luck after today's disastrous events.
